Difference between wo, wohin & woher
In German language, “wo”, “wohin”, and “woher” are all used to ask about the location or direction of something. However, they each have a slightly different meaning:

1)”Wo” means “where” in English and is used to ask for the location of something or someone in a static sense. For example: “Wo ist der Bahnhof?” (Where is the train station?)
2)”Wohin” means “where to” in English and is used to ask about the direction or destination of movement. For example: “Wohin gehst du?” (Where are you going?)
3)”Woher” means “where from” in English and is used to ask about the origin or source of something. For example: “Woher kommst du?” (Where are you from?)

9)a) Woher [Explanantion: When we have to ask in context of “From Where”, we use woher. Where are you actually from?/Where do you actually come from?]

13)a) Wie
14)c) Wann

So the complete sentence is: “Wer hat dir das Geschenk gegeben?” which translates to “Who gave you the gift?” in English.]

Use of Wer
In German language, “Wer” means “who” in English and is used to ask about the identity of a person or a group of people.

We use “Wer” to ask questions that require a personal response, such as:
Wer ist das? (Who is that?)
Wer hat das gemacht? (Who did that?)
Wer kommt mit? (Who is coming along?)
Wer spricht Deutsch? (Who speaks German?)

“Wer” is also used in indirect questions, where the question is embedded in a sentence, such as:
Ich weiß nicht, wer das gemacht hat. (I don’t know who did that.)
Kannst du mir sagen, wer heute Abend kommt? (Can you tell me who is coming tonight?)

16) d) Was [Explnantion:The sentence is asking “What does your father do for work?” and “Was” means “what” in German language]

17)c) Wie [Explanation: The sentence is asking “How do you get to work?” and “Wie” means “how” in German language, which is the appropriate question word to use in this context. So the complete sentence is: “Wie fährst du zur Arbeit?” which translates to “How do you get to work?” in English.]

18)a) Warum
