Exam Pattern for JNU MA German Entrance exam
From 2022, JNU has integrated with CUET to conduct a common entrance exam for all central universities. Under CUET, the exam question paper is divided into two sections: Section A & Section B.
The total number of questions will be 100 MCQ Based that you have to attempt in 2 hours (For any updates in the exam timing, make sure to check the official website for CUET PG Exam)
What will Section A and Section B include in JNU MA German Question paper?
Section A will have 25 questions on various topics related to General exam (English, GK, Reasoning, Current affairs, Maths, etc.)
Section B will include 75 domain-based questions. In this case, German language is your domain subject. This is the part where you have to focus most while doing preparation for JNU MA German exam.
Great News: If you are targeting only JNU for MA in German language then you should focus most on Section B because JNU only considers the weightage of Section B in Cut-off for admission (Out of 300)

Step 2: Click near the information tab in the above bar and select the option of the syllabus.
Step 3: Choose the right title. For example: for the german language, click on Language and download PDF.
Will JNU MA German PG Exam: Offline or Online?
All the PG exams for central university conducted by CUET will be based on CBT (Computer based test). As JNU also conducts MA German entrance exam under CUET, Exam will be online at the examination centre.
Will JNU MA German Entrance exam have negative marking?
Yes according to current rules, JNU MA entrance exam has a negative marking of -1 marks and you will be given +4 for every correct answer.
